St. Michael’s College, Caboolture, is calling for expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about education, leadership, and governance to join its Board of Directors.

The Board plays a vital role in the strategic leadership and overall governance of the College, working closely with the Principal to ensure the ongoing success of the school and its alignment with the College’s values, mission, and educational vision. Directors contribute their diverse skills and perspectives to support effective decision-making and deliver positive outcomes for students, staff, and the broader school community.

St. Michael’s is particularly seeking individuals who demonstrate a strong alignment with the College’s values and bring experience in one or more of the following areas: governance and strategic planning, education and pedagogy, financial management or fundraising, legal and regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, human resources, technology and innovation, and diversity and inclusion.

Board members are expected to attend around 10 meetings each year, generally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm. In addition, members may be involved in subcommittees or working groups, and are encouraged to participate in board development activities, including training sessions and strategic planning events.

Interested individuals are invited to submit an Expression of Interest, including a brief cover letter outlining their motivation, relevant skills, and how they believe they can contribute as a board member, along with a current CV or summary of experience.

Expressions of Interest should be emailed to the Principal, Mr Chris Allom, at principal@smccab.qld.edu.au by Monday, 26 May 2025.
