Our last full day in London had it all — Notting Hill, Abbey Road, historic pubs, a drink by the Thames, and one final Thai dinner at our local. The perfect farewell to a city we never stop loving.

Day 26 delivered squirrels, riverside history, iconic London landmarks and a pub crawl through some of the oldest and most beautiful taverns on the Thames.

A slow London Sunday turned into a memorable one, with gift shopping in Piccadilly, an incredible Sunday roast at The Devonshire, and the Arsenal game at the wonderfully wild Waxy’s Irish Bar.

Blue skies, sunshine and a buzzing London made Day 24 one to remember, from Richmond’s packed riverside and our favourite pub pie to the electric atmosphere of Battersea Power Station and a perfect finish at The Swan in Hammersmith.

Day 23 marked the end of our epic UK road trip, with one last Whitby coffee stop before returning to our London home-away-from-home in Hammersmith for a memorable final night at the Duke of Cornwall.

A laid-back day in Windermere and Bowness turned into our best St Patrick’s Day yet, with lakeside views, Irish folk music, and a brilliant atmosphere at The Albert.

Day 19 took us from Scotland back into England, with a romantic stop at Gretna Green before arriving in the buzzing lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere.

From giant horse-head sculptures to a ride on the Falkirk Wheel and a wander through historic Stirling Castle, Day 18 was a brilliant Scottish adventure from start to finish.
