Day 19 took us from Scotland back into England, with a romantic stop at Gretna Green before arriving in the buzzing lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere.

From giant horse-head sculptures to a ride on the Falkirk Wheel and a wander through historic Stirling Castle, Day 18 was a brilliant Scottish adventure from start to finish.

A special day exploring Aberdeen, spotting dolphins along the coast, visiting the breathtaking ruins of Dunnottar Castle, and finishing with a stop at a Scottish whisky distillery.

Our first full day in Edinburgh brought moody skies, gift-shop wandering, a handbag-making workshop, the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and a few pub stops to keep warm.

Day 13 delivered a bittersweet farewell, an unforgettable countryside road trip, a nostalgic stop in Castleton, and a wild drive through winding back roads to Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters.

A cosy Cotswolds day of boutique shopping, mulled cider at Dunkertons, and a visit to Hawkstone Brewery, finished perfectly with hot cider by the fire.

A spontaneous road trip to Symonds Yat turned into the perfect Sunday adventure, complete with beautiful scenery, a surprise table at the Saracens Head Inn, and an unforgettable Sunday roast before a cosy evening by the fire in Bourton-on-the-Water.

A dream day out took us from Diddly Squat and The Farmer’s Dog to the stunning streets of Oxford, before cider, sausage rolls and a beautiful Italian dinner capped off another unforgettable UK adventure.
