Today’s excursion took us on a bus adventure to Windsor Castle, though it seemed the royals had vacated the premises. Nonetheless, the charming town enveloping the castle offered us a delightful exploration.
Our evening led us to Soho, where we savoured a serene drink within the clandestine atmosphere of Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour. Later, we descended to Mr Fogg’s Tavern to partake in the Cockney singalong (SEE THE VIDEO ABOVE)—a long-awaited experience that surpassed all expectations!
Led by the talented Tom Carradine, the evening at the Tavern was a jubilant affair, with timeless songs and enthusiastic audience participation starting at 8:31 pm. Carradine, known for his prowess as a pianist with Champagne Charlie and the Bubbly Boys, envisioned bringing the camaraderie of Twinwood singalongs to London, birthing this lively event.
Amidst the merriment, we covered an impressive 16.8k steps, traversing approximately 11km on foot throughout the day.
