Our day began amidst Camden’s lively markets, where we savored Yorkshire Burritos. Exploring Fleet Street’s charm, we stumbled upon the Whitley Neill gin distillery, indulging in exclusive flavors and bringing some home.

Today’s adventure led us to the bustling Camden markets, a vibrant hub of activity. Our goal? To seek out the legendary Yorkshire Burritos, and we triumphed! Opting for the tasty roast chicken and potatoes enveloped in rich gravy, encased within a colossal Yorkshire pudding (it lived up to every bit of our lofty expectations). 🤤
Moving on, our journey took us to Fleet Street, a familiar yet endlessly intriguing locale. Amidst our explorations, we marvelled at the grandeur of The Old Bank of England, its opulent ceilings and the quirky addition of a double-decker bus in the beer garden. As we meandered down the historic street, each shop and edifice whispered tales of bygone eras.
A serendipitous turn led us to descend into the Whitley Neill gin distillery, where the collection of brightly lit glass bottles against the dimly lit ambiance left us in awe. Sampling their exclusive flavours and indulging in meticulously crafted cocktails, we even decided to procure a few bottles to savour at home back in Australia.
Embracing the spirit of craftsmanship and tradition, Whitley Neill Gin finds its home at the City of London Distillery. This venerable establishment holds the distinction of being the first gin distillery in the City of London in two centuries, dating back to 1762.
Fun Fact: Whitley Neill Gin proudly holds the title of the UK’s #1 premium gin and is revered as the nation’s most beloved gin.
