Day 15 brought another road trip adventure, this time crossing the border into Scotland. While most of the drive was on the motorways, it did come with one major highlight — spotting one of the UK’s most iconic pieces of public art, The Angel of the North, standing proudly as we made our way north.

We stopped in Dunbar for lunch, giving us our first little taste of Scotland… and let’s just say it was certainly memorable — interesting, a little wild, and very, very wet.

By the time we arrived and settled into our new home in Edinburgh, it was time for a wander around the neighbourhood to get our bearings. That little exploration turned into the perfect finish to the day when we stumbled across the most amazing place for dinner.
