Don’t miss your chance to join the adventure with hundreds of fellow bikers for a ride around Moreton Bay Region, as the community makes its voice heard in the fight against domestic violence. Together, the community will show that there is no place for this kind of abuse in society.
Gates will open at 7:00am at the Caboolture Showgrounds, Beerburrum Rd, Caboolture, with the ride kicking off at 8:30am sharp. The rolling bump-in for the car show will start at 9:30am, followed by the car show at 11:00am and the bike show at 12:00pm.
Red Ride is a fundraising event that uses a motorbike ride to raise awareness and funds to support victims of domestic violence.
The funds raised are donated to organisations that provide services and support to victims of domestic violence.
The event focuses on raising awareness around the issue of domestic violence and aims to promote a culture of nonviolence and respect for all. This is at the core an opportunity for riders to join in on an exhilarating charity motorbike ride, where riders hit the open road and raise funds for a great cause!
Red Ride also aims to educate individuals and the community at large about the issue of domestic violence, including its causes, consequences, and how to prevent it.
“When family domestic violence happens, there are a lot of people affected and everyone has a responsibility to act,” the founder of Red Ride, Moreton Bay Region Councillor, Tony Latter said.
With around 300 bikes last year, the aim this year is to increase, or have a greater push for cars to attend the after-ride event.
