Day 23 marked the end of our epic UK road trip, with one last Whitby coffee stop before returning to our London home-away-from-home in Hammersmith for a memorable final night at the Duke of Cornwall.

Day 23 brought our epic UK road trip full circle. We farewelled the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, but not before one final stop for coffee and a pasty at the Cornish Bakery — the perfect send-off before the long drive south.
From there, we made our way back to London, returning to what has well and truly become our second home: Hammersmith. After weeks of unforgettable towns, winding roads, historic villages and coastal adventures, it felt strangely familiar and comforting to be back.
We spent the afternoon wandering the neighbourhood, soaking up the last of the journey, before finishing the day in the best possible way — dinner at our favourite local, the Duke of Cornwall. A brilliant Thai meal, a great atmosphere, and a pub full of people celebrating a wedding made for a pretty memorable final night on the road. We may have arrived back in London, but the adventure was far from over.
