Why Join the Adventure (JtA)? JtA is a community interested in experiencing life and making a positive impact.

This means embracing new experiences, pushing boundaries, and being up for the challenge. It’s also about seeking out the thrill of the adventure, taking the road less travelled, and appreciating the journey. “The world is one big adventure – DARE to go there!®”

The Join the Adventure (JtA) team are looking forward to hitting the road and heading to the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra. This adventure will begin Thursday, 16 February in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, JtA’s base. This road-trip will include a stopover in Goulburn, New South Wales, before ultimately pulling into Canberra, as the festival gets underway.

The three-day festival goes from Friday, 17 February through to Sunday, 19 February. Over the last six-years of attending the festival (not including COVID-19 impacted years), it has proven to be an exciting and vibrant event that brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of Australia. The annual festival is one of the largest cultural events in the country, attracting more than 260,000 visitors each year.

One of the key reasons why it is so good to attend the National Multicultural Festival is the opportunity it provides to deeply immerse yourself in different cultures and traditions. With over 80 countries represented, there is a wealth of cultural experiences to be had, from trying new foods and drinks to watching traditional dances and listening to live music. This exposure to different cultures is not only enjoyable, but it also promotes cultural understanding and acceptance, helping to build a more harmonious and inclusive Australia.

Another great aspect of the festival is the atmosphere of vibrant celebration that pervades throughout. With so many people coming together to revel in their cultures and traditions, there is a real sense of community and belonging that makes the festival a truly special experience. Whether you are there with friends (hoping for meetups again this time), family, or by yourself, you will inevitably feel welcomed and included in the festivities.

In addition to the cultural experiences on offer, the National Multicultural Festival is also an opportunity to support entertainers and artists. With a wide variety of stalls selling everything from food and drinks to crafts and clothing, there is something for everyone. By shopping at the festival, you can help support small businesses and local artists, as well as take home a unique and memorable souvenir from your time at the festival.

We look forward to sharing this adventure with you, and please reach out to us if you’re going too!!!
