Business Professional Women (BPW) are inviting the whole community to: “A Mega Event to Celebrate the Local Businesses in Caboolture and Surrounds.” Watch the video and read the news story below for all the details.
Why Join the Adventure (JtA)? JtA is a community interested in experiencing life and making a positive impact.
This means embracing new experiences, pushing boundaries, and being up for the challenge. It’s also about seeking out the thrill of the adventure, taking the road less travelled, and appreciating the journey. “The world is one big adventure – DARE to go there!®”
BPW Caboolture is running the successful Caboolture and Surrounds Business Showcase once again, and the whole community is invited.
- What: BPW Caboolture and Surrounds Business Showcase.
- When: Saturday, 27 May from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
- Where: Morayfield Sport & Events Centre.
The President of BPW Caboolture, Vicki Wood, explained the benefits of attending this event whether you are an individual or business.
“There’ll be entertainment to wander through various stalls from different businesses in the Moreton Bay region,” Vicki Wood outlined in the video above.
“They’ll be on showcase, there’ll be coffee stalls, there’ll be keynote speakers.
“We also have Di Farmer, who’s the Small Business Minister for the state government.
“She’ll be here to open the event at 10 o’clock.
“It’s a great opportunity to come down and speak to her and also learn a bit about what her role is.
“As a business, there is a lot of opportunities within the state government and the local government to be able to utilise, and this is a great way to come and focus on that and find out.”
This is a free event for the community to attend with a gold coin donation at the door.
“A monster raffle prize that (we) will be selling tickets for as of February…, there’ll be about three prizes for that, and there’ll be monster prizes with a whole heap of different things,” Vicki Wood said.
“In it at the moment, we have things like iPads, barbecues, boxing sessions, et cetera, to go with that as well.
“We’ve got entertainment from different community groups.
“We’re also having some community groups on display too to showcase what they do for our community as well.”
While registration to attend the event isn’t required, you can connect with the event created on Facebook to stay up to date with all the details.
